Delta is seeking shareholder and regulatory approval for its plan to acquire Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest in a stock-swap deal that would create the world's largest carrier by traffic.
NVDL: Thing is, it is no longer giant scale operations that will succeed or survive in the future. Mirosoft, Yahoo, you guys listening? It's the opposite. Smaller enterprises, the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker. Remember that? Those that are physically fit, wiry, and can adapt quickly through an ability to use minimal resources, those with the potential to change to different technologies/resource streams quickly and easily. Giant Corporations will be around, but they will suffer massive body blows in the coming crisis. It will just take longer for giant scaled operations to die.
